Normal-length 65mm prime is designed for use with Hasselblad X-mount medium format mirrorless cameras where it provides a 50mm equivalent focal length.
Fast f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also enables extensive control over your focus position to benefit the use of selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques.
Two ultra-low dispersion elements and two high refractive index elements help to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the aperture range for greater sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
Manual focus design offers a 2.3' minimum focusing distance along with a 1:4 maximum magnification ratio to suit working with close-up subjects.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality when working with selective focus techniques.

Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 65mm f/1.4 Reviews

Bought a GFX for this Lens

Rated 5 out of 5

I have to admit, I bought into the GFX system mainly to use this lens. My copy is pretty sharp wide open (especially for all practical use and printing). It definitely is heavy and the focus throw is too long for my tastes, but the images that come out of it are fantastic. A couple things I've noticed - if you are doing a tight portrait, stop down to f/2 or f/2.8. Also, shooting at f/11-16 isn't great, as diffraction lifts its ugly head. Last, a lens hood would greatly diminish flares. For portraits, this thing is magic! Highly recommend.

Unbeatable value

Bought this lens on sale so it was a no-brainer. I'd say full price at five ninety nine is still a great value. My copy is sharp. Some CA but it is part of the charm. Solid feel and smooth controls. Love it.

If is a manual aperture lens so you set your ISO, shutter speed and then turn the aperture until the exposure meter needle matches the exposure you want. The aperture size is not controlled by the camera. That is your job.

IS doesn't work with GFX 50S II. Any Idea how to enable it?
Asked by: David
The Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 65mm f/1.4 Lens for Fujifilm G is a manual lens with no contacts to communicate with the GFX 50S II camera. So the camera does not know that a lens is attached. You need to go to the the set-up menu and choose BUTTON/DIAL SETTING. Here you will find the SHOOT WITHOUT LENS option. This will allow the camera to operate with manual lenses.
