Extend your GH5's hot shoe for mounting your DMW-XLR1 XLR adapter wherever you want on your camera cage with this Cable Adapter from LanParte. One end of the 13.8" coiled cable slides into your GH5's hot shoe and secures with a lever. The second end screws into a 1/4"-20 thread on your cage and replaces the hot shoe, enabling you to mount and secure the XLR adapter where you want it. An alternative application of this cable adapter is flexible placement of a flash unit on your camera rig.
