Nitecore UMS2 Overview

The UMS2 Intelligent USB Dual-Slot Superb Battery Charger from Nitecore is compatible with select Li-ion, IMR, LiFePO4, NiMH and NiCd batteries. This charger accepts multiple power sources that plug directly into the USB-C port. Batteries can be charged simultaneously or independently, and the charger can reach a maximum 4000mAh of output power.

During the charging process, the LCD will monitor battery health and display battery status, charged volume, battery temperature, and battery level. Batteries with circuit protection activate the intelligent charging management system, apply correct charging currents, prevent overcharging, protect against reverse polarity, and provide anti-short circuit protection. The charger is constructed from durable and fire-retardant PC and ABS materials.

Too big for AA and AAA batteries

I bought it primarily for AA and AAA batteries when travelling. But it is too big for that purpose. I think it is because it allows to charge all sort of other batteries. Never regrets the purchase since it is made of high quality material. But it defeats my travel purpose. The picture shows it as a small device but actually it is not.
