The large Tripod Head Quick Release Plate from Kirk Enterprises is a satin silver anodized 6061-T6 aluminum plate designed to fit tripod heads with an approximate base diameter of 2.25" or over and with a threaded 3/8"-16 socket. The included set screw threads through the bottom of the plate secures it to the head. The quick release plate is Arca-type compatible, enabling you to swap out different heads on your tripod for multiple applications.

Yes. I will attach it on the bottom of RRS clamp, and then mount this final assembly on the clamp of Gitzo GH 3382 QD. The purpose is to transfer 3382’s clamp to RRS type, because 3382’s clamp may have compatibility issue if you don’t remove that safety screw from 3382’s clamp.
I saw this plate does have caves which facing to clamp. Not sure if either cave can just contain that off center safety screw or not?
This is quite possible, as there are large carved-out spaces on the base of the QR plate that would accommodate the Gitzo ball head safety screw. However, because the 3382QD is arca-swiss by default, it would be easier (and potentially prevent accidents during hasty attachment) to just remove the safety screw.

Does the plate have 2 separated set screws or they are CNCed like some reviews complaint about?
The Kirk Tripod Head Quick Release Plate (Large) comes with one set of screws, or two screws (one small and one big) in total.

Is it able to be adapted into the clamp of Gitzo GH3382 QD?
There is an off center line safety screw mounted on the clamp of 3382 ball head, so I ask this question to confirm compatibility.
This plate is meant to mount on the bottom of a ball head in order to quickly remove the head from an Arca type clamp mounted directly on a tripod.
