  • Built-In Aperture Ring/Supports G Lenses
  • +/- 10mm of Shift, 10° of Tilt
  • 360° Mount Rotation
Beyond just attaching your Nikon F-mount lens to your Sony E-mount mirrorless camera, the Fotodiox Pro TLT ROKR is a sophisticated lens adapter with integrated tilt and shift capabilities. Able to turn your lens into either a perspective control or a creative focusing optic, this adapter has +/- 10mm of shift, for correcting converging lines and adjusting composition, as well as 10° of tilt, for fine-tuning your focus position to either increase depth of field or achieve creative selective focus effects. A 360° rotating mechanism is incorporated into the adapter's design, as well, to permit applying the tilt and shift movements in any orientation required. When zeroed-out, the adapter functions as a simple, manual adapter that maintains infinity focus while requiring manual aperture control, and it features a durable all-metal construction with chrome-plated brass mounts. Additionally, this Nikon F-mount version has a built-in aperture ring to support working with G-type lenses that lack a physical aperture ring.

FotodioX Nikon F Lens to Sony E Mount Reviews

Well made but limited

The adapter is well made and fits tightly. Unfortunately, it is only able to tilt in one direction which requires rotating the unit 180 degrees to change the direction of tilt. The buyer should also know that it is completely manual- there are no electronic connections between the camera and lens.

High quality adapter

This is a part I bought from Fotodiox to match a lens from B&H. It deserves a review. The adapter is beautifully machined, but with this gear your expectations should be reasonable. There are advantages for architecture and limitations. You can use varied lenses and the part is light and compact, deciding factors for me. It adjusts four ways including aperture. The screw is for tilt! The amount of shift you can get away with depends on the lens. For example with my 21mm on f.f. as shown s.o.c.. I get 5mm in landscape mode. (Without shift the tree reaches the top of the frame). That is a useful amount to move the horizon, while keeping perspective. Maximum shift is 10mm, better with longer lenses. O.t.o.h., you cannot tilt in parallel with shift. That happens at right angles. The part pairs to 35mm sensor optics, not medium format. From weight, precision and price pick any two. Regards, C.

Works well for Zeiss Otus lens

I haven't used it much yet but it works well with the Zeiss Otus lenses that I have, as they have a large image circle (I've heard they mostly cover the sensor of a medium format camera when adapted), so there is plenty of room to shift without running out of image. Downsides are that it only tilts one direction (can be rotated to any one direction but that's an extra step), and that it doesn't have a tripod foot or a way of attaching one. A tripod foot would be really helpful, so that I could keep the lens still and shift the camera, for more accurate panorama stitching, and also because the Otus lenses are heavy and would put a lot of strain on the camera mount without support. The Venus Laowa magic shift converter excels in this way but doesn't work with nikon type G lenses, as far as I know.

Very nicely built.....

I am amazed with this TS adapter. It is far better than the other brand that I have been struggling with. The TLT ROKR has solid lens mounts on both ends and both movements work fine. I will give them an A+
