BUYER BEWARE
My initial reaction was that I absolutely loved this - it's one of a kind as far as I know, and it seems to do what it does well. Another review said you could only use the shift function in one direction but that is inaccurate - the mount rotates so you can tilt and shift in any direction. BUT the big issue is that the mount uses a grease / lubrication to allow it to fluidly shift, and that grease (on my copy at least) is not well contained - the grease oozes out of the sides of the mount as shown in the attached photo. To me, grease should be nowhere near my sensor or lens optics so this is getting returned immediately. I'm curious if it's an issue with all copies or if I just got a dud.. but this is a pretty bad defect. If not for the grease issue this would get 4 or 5 stars.
Defective Fotodiox Pro tilt/shift EOS-SN E adapter
I ordered the product online and received the product at around 4pm on May 12, 2020. Then I tried it and found out the problem as follows: This Fotodiox Pro adapter has wrong structural design. The tilt and shift directions are fixed at an angle of 90°. Both movements can do under cross or over cross only. Parallel Tilt and shift cannot be done, but it is necessary for architectural photography. Therefore, I returned the product and will not pay for the purchase. Hong-guang Sheng
