I really like the velcro on the back of these. It allows you to join the corners together if you have a couple side by side, join the two floppy corners together behind the stand, and there's also a velcro bit in the center for securing the middle of the floppy piece to a stand. No more having to use clips to keep the floppy from blowing into the AC or Director. They are a bit smaller than Matthews. I'd estimate an inch or so narrower. I don't really mind that, but it could be a drawback for some. TRP is a great company. I expect this to last just as long as a Matthews, and am planning to purchase a few more.
4x4 solid floppies are staples for a reason, but this one steps it up even more with built in velcro straps for securing the bottom of the fabric to your stand (no more clamping them with #2s and ripping your fabric) and connecting the bottom corners of adjacent floppies (to create more seamless walls without adding weight or creating puckering). It's beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing. My favorite solid 4x4 floppy, even over Matthews or American. If you're in the market, give it a good hard look.
