What instrument mics (saxophone) would be ...
What instrument mics (saxophone) would be compatible with this wireless system? I'm looking at the AKG C519ML, but it mentions phantom power, compatibility with WMS systems, and/or a separate phantom power provider. Open to other cheaper options for instrument mics as well.
The AKG C519ML Woodwind and Brass Microphone is compatible for use with the AKG DMS100 Digital Wireless Instrument System.

Does the transmitter only have a TA3M/Mini-XLR ...
Does the transmitter only have a TA3M/Mini-XLR input? Can I connect an instrument or pickup that has a 1/4" output?
The AKG DMS100 Digital Wireless Instrument System (2.4 GHz) has a TA3M (mini-XLR) input. However, the DMS100 Instrument Set includes a cable that allows you to connect instruments with a 1/4" output jack to the transmitter. This cable has a 1/4" connector on one end and a TA3M connector on the other, designed to connect to the PT100 transmitter.
So, while the transmitter's physical input is a TA3M, you can easily connect your 1/4" instrument or pickup using the provided adapter cable.
