The Director's Monitor Cage Kit from CAMVATE features a camera director's monitor cage rig, two leather handgrips, and a padded neck strap. It is designed for a 5 or 7" LCD on-camera monitor, allowing it to be securely held and carried during a shoot. A monitor is mounted onto the cage using 1/4"-20 screws on the top and bottom. A V-lock power supply splitter is included, as well as a plate for a wireless transmission system.

I had so much fun customizing this to fit my needs. Everything is high quality and customizable. My only issue is the weight but making compromises with quality seems like the only way to get this lighter. The strap comfort definitely makes up for the weight.

What power outputs does the V mount power splitter have exactly? Please advise. e.g. 1x USB5V, 1x dtap 7.2v, 1x barrel pin 12v.

The V-mount battery plate included with the CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Dual Handgrips & Neck Strap has one USB-A port (5V), two DC barrel ports (one is 12V and the other is 7.2V), and one D-tap output (14.8V).

Can you get it with gold mount instead of v- mount?

Instead of modifying the CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Dual Handgrips & Neck Strap, because they do not have gold mount configuration for it, you can just get this other barebones CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Adjustable Rack and use the desired accessories with it for gold mount power.

Yes, the V-Mount plate has a D-Tap output. How you would power the monitor will depend on the monitor you are using and the available D-Tap cables available for it.

Yes it is. This cage is designed for use with 5 and 7 inch monitors. The Shogun Inferno should work well in this cage.

Yes, the CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Dual Handgrips & Neck Strap would fit the FeelWorld LUT5 5.5" IPS 3000 cd/m² On-Camera Monitor; however, the monitor does not feature a top 1/4"-20 mounting point and would only mount from the bottom of the monitor.
