The Director's Monitor Cage Kit from CAMVATE features a camera director's monitor cage rig, two leather handgrips, and a padded neck strap. It is designed for a 5 or 7" LCD on-camera monitor, allowing it to be securely held and carried during a shoot. A monitor is mounted onto the cage using 1/4"-20 screws on the top and bottom. A V-lock power supply splitter is included, as well as a plate for a wireless transmission system.

Instead of modifying the CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Dual Handgrips & Neck Strap, because they do not have gold mount configuration for it, you can just get this other barebones CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Adjustable Rack and use the desired accessories with it for gold mount power.

Yes, the V-Mount plate has a D-Tap output. How you would power the monitor will depend on the monitor you are using and the available D-Tap cables available for it.
