Covering a versatile and popular range of focal lengths, the Lumix S PRO 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S. from Panasonic is an L-mount telephoto zoom featuring an f/4 constant maximum aperture. A sophisticated optical design is employed, which incorporates a series of aspherical, low dispersion, and high refractive index elements, to control a variety of aberrations, color fringing, and distortion for sharp, clear, well-corrected imagery throughout the zoom range. Complementing the optics is a unique double focus system, which utilizes both a linear motor and a stepping motor, to provide especially fast and precise focusing performance. Additionally, an Optical Image Stabilizer reduces the effects of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting and the lens sports a weather-sealed design for use in harsh conditions.

Panasonic Lumix S PRO 70-200mm f/4 Reviews
Worth It!
I was hesitant spending this much on an f4 lens. I do a lot of low light photography, particularly live music that sometimes has poor lighting. After my first shoot, I was hooked! The f4 aperture gives me more seperation than I expected. Losing one stop vs a 2.8 is less of an issue than I anticipated with my S5mk1. The bokeh is very pleasant. It has a creamy look to it, not unlike a lot of my vintage lenses, which was surprising. The dual stabilization with my S5 is unbelievably good. Cinema good. I find myself shooting more video than i typically do just because of how much fun it is. This thing is SHARP. I'm constantly impressed with how sharp it is without going into that weird, overly sharp modern lens look. The color holds up to the Lumix standard. It's very well balanced and so clean. The size and weight are both very manageable, being a 70-200mm. It's very balanced and not nearly as heavy as an f2.8. I do a lot of street photography and I don't have an issue lugging it around the city. It's weather-sealed. Sigma is not. That was a huge selling point for me. Like I mentioned before, I don't want to get caught in inclement weather while doing street photography. If anything, I want to be able to get into the rain and not be concerned about my gear potentially being ruined. All in all, I'm unbelievably happy with this lens. The size and weight savings vs the f2.8 makes it easy to always carry it with me in my bag and I'm shocked that I can get results in such low light with an f4. If you are on the fence about purchasing this lens, I can honestly say that it will become a staple in your collection. It has yet to let me down and it is still impressing me.
Stellar, a work of art!
I wrote another review before this one but forgot to include the sample photos. I love this lens!
