This adapter has no glass, just a tube. Pricing is typically dictated by mfr quality. This is machined very well with little tolerances.

How does one control the aperture setting of the EF/EF-S lens, when using this adapter?
Unfortunately, the aperture on the Canon EF/EF-S Lens would be at the largest setting by default as the adapter would not allow for any control over it.
