can this dock's m.2 drive function without plugging in the included power supply? also what input voltages does the dock's power supply support?

No, you would need to plugin the dock with the included power supply to access the M.2 drive (which does not come pre-installed).

You can daisy chain multiple monitors using only one cable on one DisplayPort 1.2 Output and then one short cable between each DisplayPort 1.2 monitors. On most DisplayPort 1.2 video card, CPU integrated graphics or laptop port you can connect up to 4 monitors running at resolution of 1920 x 1080 or 1920 x 1200 The Maximum number of monitors that you can daisy-chain to one DisplayPort 1.2 MST Is broken down by monitor resolution): Daisy chaining is the act of connecting many monitors using only one cable on one DisplayPort 1.2 Output and then one short cable between each DisplayPort 1.2 monitors.
