Outex COVER 110 Overview

The medium Outex 110 Underwater Camera Cover is designed for use with most mirrorless or DSLR cameras. Measuring 6.3 x 5.3" with a maximum body-plus-lens length of 10.2", the stretchy, see-through, silicone-based cover has openings for an Outex Front Glass, which attaches to the lens, and Rear Glass, which attaches to the tripod mount or viewfinder. The camera's controls can be seen and operated right through the cover.

    Wow... I didn't exactly use as intended but hear me out. I had to shoot an event that involved a lot of paint and water. It absolutely protected my camera in the middle of all the action. It took me literally on the scene to figure how to put it on. So I didn't even have the manual but thank goodness I figured it out. I was able to access my menu to still use the camera effectively. I was even able to zoom.

    The Canon EOS 80D will fit in the Outex 110 Underwater Camera Cover (Medium) as long as the lens you are using and the camera is not longer than 10.23" (260mm). You do need to add the Outex Rear Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (86mm) and a front glass.     The Outex 110 Waterproof Case Camera Cover (Medium) can accommodate a Canon 5D Mark III and the Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens, B&H # CA5012LEF. The Outex Rear Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (86mm), B&H # OUREARGLASS, would also be needed as well as the Outex Front Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (72mm Filter Thread), B&H # OU72MM.

    Does the silicone housing stretch enough for ...

    Does the silicone housing stretch enough for using a zoom lens which expands longer than the the case? In other words, if I have a 100/400 lens that is 8.25" expands to 11.5" will the 10.2" silicone lens portion stretch for the additional inch?
