Canon EG-E1 Reviews
Should have bought this earlier
Coming from bigger camera bodies this item was the cherry on the cake on my R8. Feels more secure, comfortable and balanced when holding. I hate the fact that R8 owners have to buy this as opposed to having the body slightly bigger, but in my case at least it is worth the bucks.
Great fit, looks nice-Waaay overpriced
It is what is says it is. It makes the R8 much more comfortable to hold, but it is not worth $79. Why has Canon abandoned the vertical grip for entry level cameras?? I have bought the genuine Canon grip for every camera I have had since the 10d. Canon is back to their irritating ways of taking away simple options and making them available only on higher end models like the R5. Canon reminds me of Apple...they like to tell you what you need an don't need without choices.
