Very easy to open and install my M.2 SSDs. Use an x16 PCIe if you have one available on your motherboard for optimal performance.

So far I've only got one extra M.2 installed, but this card feels rigid and can definitely keep your cards cool. The built-in fan is a great addition, and not to mention the thermal paste on the inside for your cards.

More valueable than its price.

I am using it on a Truenas machine with 14 Cores CPU. It is the only expansion module that could get maximum speed. Integrated Cooling system. I use SAMSUNG EVO and it can handle up to 3.2GByte per second per NVME module.... super fast.

I used this card to update a circa 2011 home-built desktop machine with an NVMe SSD. The machine has a fast four-core AMD processor and 8 GB of RAM, so while not as fast as the best stuff you can buy today either in terms of processing speed or memory bandwidth, it's plenty fast enough and was worth an improvement in disk throughput. This card looks very well designed and well made, it's easy to install and provides connectors for four NVEe devices. I did have to leave one of the old SATA SSDs in the machine for booting, because the BIOS doesn't know about NVMe devices. I restored Arch Linux from my backups to the new configuration, did a little bit of tweaking (e.g., partition UUIDs changed) and the machine came up. The machine feels quite a bit faster. Well worth $100 for this card and the new (250 GB) SSD.

Installed in PCIE slot 3 on ROG Zenith Extreme motherboard With two WD Black 500 GB NVME m.2 SSDs. Meets expectations. Will be adding two Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVME M.2 SSDs in the future.
