Matias FK318B Reviews

I wanted to like this keyboard

This keyboard would be great if it worked. Looks and feels like an apple keyboard but right out of the box on first use it would register multiple keystrokes on a single key stroke. Especially the P would show as PP a lot, but not every time. I wasn't willing to try again for one that might not do that for a $100 keyboard. I ordered a Satechi backlit keyboard for almost half the price and i like it more.

Great until it fails

I have purchased several of these keyboards in different sizes, and I have finally learned my lesson that despite the great form factor, nice design and excellent feel of the keys, they will fail rapidly and frustratingly. For a while I put up with the fact that some keys often double-type and others often require multiple presses to type at all, but as the problems get worse ultimately I give up. I would *love* these keyboards, and happily pay somewhat more for them if they only were reliable.

I bought the product in 2019. The aluminum looking part rubbed off and the base plastic is showing through the metallic painting.
