Simple! Low Profile on camera! Easy to use. Battery lasts for days of use.

You can turn on the exposure simulation

The coolest part is that you can turn on the exposure simulation through the app so you can see your background exposure. Honestly, I prefer this trigger and using the app to control other lights than having a giant trigger mounted on my camera.

OK transmitter, but limmited

This transmitter works just as described - and of course is built with the same degree of ruggedness as all Profoto products. However, it is limited when compared to something like the Air Remote TTL trigger from Profoto. If you are looking for a trigger that works right out of the box, requires no particular setup, then this one will work great for you. If you shoot with a variety of setups (e.g., groups and channels), then the Air Remote TTL might be a better choice.

Works astonishingly well straight out of the box. I never need to open the app on my phone for adjustments. I just adjust everything by hand after swapping to manual. The ttl is amazing. I actually use it much more often than I thought I would.

I received this as a bundle with my Profoto A1s Duo Kit. I like this as a complimentary trigger to the AirTTL remote. I plan on using it with my second camera when I shoot weddings. The Connect is super responsive with the B10, A1, and app. Making adjustments is not that difficult. A strength of this trigger happens to be the locking mechanism on the hot shoe. Once you insert it on the hot shoe it has a pin which keeps it secure.

Best remote for light head close to trigger!!

I bought this remote to use with my Profoto B10s. I have had constant issues with my B10s not firing when the light head is close (0-30) to the camera/Air Remote(s). I mostly handhold my light and it's too often in the dead zone and will not fire with either of my two Profoto Air Remote triggers. I'm thrilled to report this new Profoto Connect works 100% of the time no matter how close the B10 head is to the trigger. No frills for sure, but works perfectly for my needs.

Excellent with Nikon, Hasselblad & Leica

I bought this for use with my two Profoto A1 flashes, which I continue to use and love. I'm not much of a flash photog, but I like to use them for flash fill in our gardens [hummingbirds, insects, and flowers] and for my wife's food images. From Day 1 four years ago, all it has done is just work with my Nikons, and then my Hasselblad X1D, and now my Leica M11, CL, and Q2. I also own the newer Profoto Connect for Leica, but I prefer to use this one overall because it is less obtrusive when shooting, smaller, travel-friendlier, simpler and is USB-C rechargeable [hello Profoto, requiring batteries in the new Pro is not very cool]. And because it just works.

I picked up the Connect for Nikon to use with my Leica Q2. It's perfect for my needs as a hit-and-run personality portrait photographer. Paired with two Profoto C1Plus units it makes for the ultimate small kit!

If you don't want to change settings using the app, the transmitter will be set to channel one, group A. You can still change strobe settings on the strobe itself. You'll need the app to update the firmware.
