The spider-style elastic suspension isolates the mic from vibrations, effectively reducing low-frequency noise from rumble and footfall. The swivel mount enables easy adjustment of the mic's angle while it remains cradled in the suspension. The EA 87 is outfitted with a 5/8"-27 female thread that can be fastened to most mic stands. The included thread adapter allows it to be secured to a 1/2 or 3/8" stud.

Was missing this for a while but I was able to order with our friend at B&H for a fairly awesome price.

I would buy this product again hey it's German made!

So much better than a Peluso, Chinese made shock mount. As crazy as it sounds I loved the sound the Peluso 2247 had but a crooked badly threaded (milled) shock mount turned me off and made me go for quality in every part of a mic setup. Nueman equipment is amazing. They care about quality and precision. Worth the money. To know that something you invest in will last is huge these days, where more and more are spending to save a buck, but usually end up having to deal with more repairs, returns or resales. This mount is made for a king. Keep it up Neumann. You've got my vote for more purchases.
