Two coiled cables are supplied with the MVP-3 to ensure compatible connection to the 3.5mm (1/8") port on your DSLR, smartphone, or portable audio recorder.
The shotgun style and cardioid polar pattern work together to provide accurate pickup in front of the mic along with enhanced rejection of off-axis sound. Vibration and handling noise are minimized by the included shockmount, which has an integral camera shoe and 1/4"-20 socket for versatile mounting. The metal body aids in impeding interference from EM and RF sources, and the supplied wind protection—a foam windscreen for indoor use and a furry windshield for outdoor shoots—reduces noise from breezes.
