The Super Grip Finger with Round Camera Plate from Kupo is heavy-duty, all-metal, adjustable ball head that has two ways to attach gear: a 1/4"-20 male thread located in the center of the round camera plate for your camera, and a TVMP adapter on the bottom for quickly attaching to stands, booms, cranes, and similar equipment. A ratchet handle allows you to tilt the head up to 115°, and the elliptical knob located near the base makes it easy to rotate your gear 360° horizontally. For added stability, the round camera plate features three set screws that help hold your camera in place while attached.

Can the 1/4" thread be replaced with a 3/8" thread? I prefer to not use an adapter.
Unfortunately, we do not have a super grip finger option that has a built-in 3/8"-16 male screw. As an alternative, I would recommend purchasing the Impact Heavy-Duty Swivel Pin, B&H # IMSRP118, and the Kupo Baby Ball Head Adapter, B&H # KUKG014212, as an alternative for your usage needs.

Would two of these be secure enough to hold a slider on stands? Thinking they might allow different stand heights, for slider to be inclined. Regular Kupo ball head adapters would need to both be level. Not sure if these would cause instability or want to flop over to one side or other because of weight.
