The Godox X2 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger is dedicated to Canon's E-TTL/E-TTL II system and operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency. The wireless flash trigger can fire a single flash or multiple dedicated flash units within 5 groups, 32 channels, and 99 ID settings to avoid interference from other nearby systems. For the added convenience, the integrated scan setting function can help you automatically locate an ID channel with the least interference. You can also operate the flash units within a wireless range up to 328'.

All the settings are easily viewed on the trigger's large LCD display, which can be backlit along with the group and function buttons. A USB Type-C port is located on the side of the wireless trigger to download firmware updates as is a 3.5mm sync socket to connect non-TTL flashes or to fire cameras via a remote camera cord. The downloadable GodoxPhoto app is compatible with iPhone or Android smartphones or tablets while operating the triggers via Bluetooth. The app can control the same functions as the wireless trigger such as the flash mode, power output, the modeling light, high speed sync, and the audible beep of Godox flashes.

Godox X2 Overview

The wireless trigger, which operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency can fire multiple flash units within 32 channels and 99 ID settings, so there is no interference from nearby systems.

You can control flash functions such as the flash mode, power output, the modeling light, high speed sync of 1/8000 sec, and the audible beep of Godox flashes while operating the flash units within a wireless range up to 328'.

The integrated scan setting function can help you automatically locate an ID channel with the least interference.

This transmitter works perfectly, just make sure that the flash you're going to use has built-in receiver, otherwise it won't work unless you attach an external receiver to the flash.

Is it compatible with tt520?

The Godox TT520 does not have a built in receiver, so it cannot be fired with the Godox X2T-C. However, the flash can be used on the hotshoe of the X2T-C to use in conjunction with another Godox flash off camera with an X series receiver.

Is this compatible with the new Canon EOS R5 and R6?

With latest firmware for trigger and cameras as of 3/30/2022, the Godox X2T-c works well with the Canon R5 and R6. I'm using this trigger with Godox AD200 Pro strobes in both manual and ETTL. The Canon flash menu system even mirrors that of the Godox trigger with the ability to control groups A-E separately.

Yes. The Godox X2 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon, with updated firmware will fit the new Canon R5 Mark II. The Canon AD-E1 adapter is not required for function.
