The HDMI Video Scaler allows one HDMI source to be distributed to one HDMI display. The scaler supports video sources up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, 12 bit color and HD audio. The scaler is able to upscale up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hzand downscale to 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant, has audio extraction capability, OSD (On Screen Display) configuration menu, and may be controlled via RS232.

Can this convert 1080p60 HDMI in to 2160p29.97 HDMI out?

The Muxlab 4K/60 HDMI Video Scaler supports "supports video sources up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz" and "scales up video to 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz". It should work fine for a 1920 x 1080 60 Hz to 3840 x 2160 60 Hz conversion.

Will this scale from 3840x2160 to 3840x1634 (change the aspect ratio)? Our projector outputs 16:9 but our screen is 2.35:1.

The MuxLab 4K/60 HDMI Video Scaler can incrementally downscale from 3840x2160 and should have no problem offering 3840x1634.

Yes, The MuxLab 4K/60 HDMI Video Scaler can downscale from 2160p29.97 to 1080p30 or 1080p60. All needs to be done is to press the resolution button several times to select the desired downscaled resolution. Then, press the “Enter” button to save it.

The MuxLab 4K/60 HDMI Video Scaler only handles 60Hz. It will not handle 50Hz at all.

Will this provide a consistent video signal output if the input signal drops briefly? (I'm feeding a online streaming box that stops streaming if I change inputs on my video matrix.
