The Codex Compact Drive Adapter from ARRI enables you to access Compact Drives using an ARRI SXR Capture Drive Dock, Codex Vault, or Codex Capture + Transfer Drive Dock. This adapter offers a quick, streamlined offloading solution when you're working with both an ALEXA Mini LF and an ALEXA LF, ALEXA 65, or ALEXA SXT W camera.
This adapter features a PCIe interface, a compact form, and transfer speeds up to 20 Gb/s.
Note:
Even though there is a mechanical fit if you insert the adapter into, for example, an ALEXA LF, the Compact Drive does not operate in a big ALEXA because the communication protocols do not match.
The SXR Capture Drive Dock is only supported on macOS and does require the Codex Device Manager software.
