The 4-section TR42ML Carbon Fiber Monopod with Arca-Type Clamp from ProMediaGear is a lightweight 1.7 support that is constructed using a 10x carbon fiber cross-weaving pattern for durability and strength. Telephoto lenses and cameras that weigh up to 70 lb mount to the top of the monopod via its Arca-type-compatible clamp. Each twist lock is knurled for a secure grip and unlock to extend the monopod to its maximum height of 81". To collapse for storage or to shoot at its minimum height, the monopod closes to a length of 24.5". The rubber foot prevents the monopod from sliding on smooth surfaces and removes to reveal a stainless steel spike for further stabilization on rocks, ice, or snow.
