The spotlight attachment's design incorporates a dual drop-in slot, which can accept the included B-size gobo holder, included gel holder, or an optional adjustable iris for further control over the shape and size of the light beam. Like a conventional ellipsoidal light, the included 26° lens can be easily swapped to achieve a different beam angle and enables hard cuts with minimal chromatic fringing. The Spotlight Mount has a durable aluminum alloy housing, and this kit is delivered in a hard travel case to protect the housing, lens, and accessories during transport.

Looks great. I wish the tilt knob didn't get in the way of the flagging. The focus also slides quite easy so you have to be careful. The 26 degrees is a perfect in between. I may get the iris control.
Surprised by chromatic aberation.

It's nice to have and be able to add some extra contrast to backgrounds. I'm surprised by how bad the chromatic aberation is. Terrible blue/green fringing. (Used with a 120Dii and a 300x) The blend in when you defocus but I'd hoped to also able to cast clean hard shadows with this.

Are they going to make a wider lens for this so that you can actually use it on location, in a house or apartment. At the moment you need about 35 feet of clearance to be able to use the gobo projector on flood, to cover a scene! Is it even usable at that distance for flood, covering a scene, given the power drop off at that distance with a 300D. Would it need an even more powerful LED like the Nanlite Forza 500 watt ?
Asked by: Mark
Aputure makes a wider 36 degree version https://bhpho.to/2Xn4I1u. The units effectiveness at distance can be affected by many factors, camera settings, ambient light.
