May this be used to clean SC connectors with fiber as well as Expanded Beam connectors?
Hi Frederick. This kit will work with LC and SC connectors, but is not intended for use with expanded beam. I apologize as the B&H description is a bit inaccurate on this one. This kit is intended for connectors utilizing 1.25mm or 2.5mm ferrules- LC (1.25) and SC and ST (2.5). It does not include any spray cleaners used with expanded beam.
For expanded beam, check our our "FIBERCLEAN-3" kit. We don't currently offer one single kit with all of the necessary cleaning equipment for both SC connectors and expanded beam connectors. Thank you!
