No. The AirTurn Go Stand Portable Boom is an add on. I would suggest getting the boom for additional height or more mic positioning options.

How much weight can this hold?
I have used the go Stand for a few gigs and it can hold a microphone and a mini Ipad with a holder. I also bought the boom stand which would allow you to stand up. When you buy these 2 components it is more like a traditional mike stand, though it's more compact, since it comes apart and has telescoping parts. It's a bit pricey compared to a normal stand, but if you need to put in a backpack for a mobile gig, it's great.
