Hollyland SYSCOM-1000T Overview

Ideal for broadcasting, training, and meetings, the Hollyland Syscom 1000T-8B is a full-duplex intercom system offering carrier-grade voice quality and wireless tally at a range of up to 1000 feet. It includes a base station with four high-gain antennas, eight beltpack transceivers with chargers, eight headsets, and a gooseneck microphone.

The base station features extensive connectivity such as LEMO and 3.5mm headset sockets, analog voice I/O via XLR jacks, USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, and a DB25 tally interface. Thanks to its support for AC and DC power supplies, you can be assured of continued operation even if one power source fails. The base station also provides adjustable audio levels and a remote mic kill function.

Plug the supplied headsets into the beltpack transceivers and enjoy up to eight hours of run time before needing to recharge the transceivers. With wireless tally and LCD screens that display different colors, the transceivers allow clear communication through simple color cues.

We've used this system for about 2.5 years now. The audio is clear and stable and the whole system is great. My main issue is their After-sales Service. I have a beltpack that is dying after about 3 hours. I took the beltpack apart (easy to do with the exposed screws) and found the battery swollen. I contacted their customer service, trying to purchase replacement batteries, and was told to contact After-sales Service. I did so, but they won't just sell me a battery. They want me to pay 150-400 USD to send it in for repair. A new beltpack is only $425. I'm trying to source a replacement battery elsewhere online and batteries are averaging about $20. Hopefully I can find a replacement on my own since the company won't just sell me one. Just seems a shame to make a product that would be so easy to repair but not sell the supplies to do so.

This will definitely work in the U.S. However, each European country has their own laws governing which frequencies will work within their borders. Please check with the countries in which you are interested in using the system to see if they will allow for a 1.9 GHz operation.
