Folds down small, raises high and doesn't feel like it's gonna tip with a monitor on it.

Best Monitor Stand

It's expensive but the size of the base and the height range is perfect. It's also a Matthews product that will last forever.

Quality product - What you would expect from Matthews!

This is my second purchase of this model and it is not the low price leader but quality comes with a cost. We use it with a custom mount to hold on camera teleprompters ranging from 12" to 20" units in front of separate tripod mounted cameras whose tripods are not rated to handle the additional prompter weight. The rolling stands are beefy / heavy and that translates into more stable units less likely to tip over without a fight. We are extra cautious and supplement them with shot bags. The wheels are easily locked and also unlocked Great product and highly recommended. .

It's a nice stand.

Built like a tank and one of the only stands I could find to accommodate the weight of my 28" monitor mounted in its travel case.

Solid monitor stand

This is the Mathew's slider stand with one more riser and wheels. It's well made and I expect it to last decades. The wheels prevent the legs from fully closing but it's not a big deal. Not sure if the base is wide enough to support two monitors if you added a double header. The wheels seem to work well on smooth surfaces but may have issues rolling if you use it outside on less level ground. I'm glad I bought this versus cheaper options.

You need this

This is the best bang for the buck that I have found when it comes to mounting a digiplate to a solid rolling stand. For me, a laptop stand is now as essential as the tripod is to the camera. You can always mount your digiplate to another tripod but this is less likely to get accidentally kicked and knocked over. This stand is built like a tank, yet still portable.

The unit I own is all sold as one piece. The 5/8's pin is an integral of the stand. You might be able to obtain individual parts from Matthews through B&H.

Can just the wheels be replaced? Somebody dragged mine locked and there’s a flat spot now.
Asked by: Noah
The wheel alone can be replaced as the axle is bolted and not riveted, it is a 3" Tente wheel, 75x25. We sell the replacement wheel along with the caster for $34, part number 6018.

Is this as stable as The Slider Stand? Looking for something heavy duty that has wheels for our Kessler Shuttle Dolly. The wheels that you add to The Slider Stand are ridiculously expensive adding an additional $200 to a $281 stand!

No, the Slider stand is more stable. But not by a lot, the slider stand supports up to 80lbs and the monitor stand supports up to 70lbs.
