1/4" This is a great handle. If your cage has a cold shoe with a 1/4" hole, it will lock into place like a rock and not move, even after 12 hours of heavy use.

Would this work well as a right side handle mount as well? (On fx3/30 tilta cage)
Because the Tilta Quick Release Top Handle (Black) has a 1/4"-20 that can protrude from the bottom of cold shoe mount, you could mount it as a side handle using a the camera's or a cage's 1/4"-20 receiver, but it may not be the most secure since it won't have the added support of a cold shoe, anti-twist pin, or a second screw, so if you do use it as a side handle be careful to pay attention to if it starts to come lose or twist.
