Power for the iPolar comes from the included 24" USB cable that tethers it to your computer, and since it's plug-and-play compatible there are no drivers that need to be installed before your computer recognizes it. This version of the iPolar is supplied with an external mounting adapter that attaches to your Celestron AVX or CG-5 equatorial mount, and additional adapters are available separately so you can move a single iPolar between multiple equatorial mounts—simply pick up the mounting adapter that fits your other mounts.
