We recently restarted our chemical darkroom and have been ordering Dektol, the standard developer we used in the past. We have seen no quality control problems, powder is white, mixes well and performs as expected.
I like this product for long term storage in premixed state as opposed to liquids. It is the old reliable. I am not in the darkroom all the time, so I like keeping a few packs of powder versions of my basics. If I was in the darkroom a lot, maybe I would use other brands. At school I was happy with SPRINT because they are a bit less toxic, but I am still here after 50 years, so I guess it is okay. Plus I am nostalgic about having "Old Yellow" here!
