Nikon 1000i Reviews

Small, compact, Nikon optics...what's not to like?

I bought this to replace a battered old Bushnell rangefinder for deer hunting. First off this thing is TINY. Much more convenient for field use. Some very useful features that the 1000 model doesn't have Works fine as a impromptu monocle as well, if one forgets their binoculars. Took it to the local range and tested it against a friend's rangefinder, that cost 3x+ the price. Accuracy was spot on. And as a long time Nikon photographer -- I'll put Nikon optics against any other optics in the world.

Great value!

Only had a short while (got for hunting and golf). Had a hard time holding on flag for longer golf holes, but it worked perfect. Figure it is better suited for hunting. Would probably work better with support. Have binoculars, several rifle Scopes, and vast amount of camera related things made by Nikon. Never had a problem with any of them!
