Since there is no focus indicator on the lens how do you know when you're at infinity when using manual focus?
Asked by: Matt
There will be a focus scale that appears on the LCD of Nikon Z cameras, so it would be easy to see if the NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens is focused to infinity.

Is this lens good for Astro photography?
Asked by: Kira
The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens is a good lens for astrophotography. It offers sharp images and has a wide 1.8 aperture that offers great quality in low light. However, it has some coma aberration at the corners, which is when the stars look like arrows instead of dots. A lens that has less coma aberration is the Venus Optics Laowa 15mm f/2 FE Zero-D Lens for Nikon Z (B&H # VE1520NZ), but it is only manual focus. For night photos, you will only use manual focus and manual exposure anyway.
