Lever locked up 10 days after return date

Worked great until it didn't, it's unusable at this point... The pin holding the lever handle is frozen, very weird as it was moving freely up to that point... Flexshooter.eu did respond quickly and is sending a new lever to replace it, but who know how long that will take with Customs involved...

Moves Like Butter!

It took a few minutes to get used to this ball head— how it moves and locks into place. Now that I’ve got it all figured out, I could not be happier. It is rock steady holding a position, but also moves in all directions incredibly smoothly. It is heavy to carry around in my backpack, but so totally worth it. It fits and works fine with my lighter Ulanzi travel tripod (with a small screw adapter.) If you want a ball head that will not disappoint, spend the extra $$$ and get this one.

My Flexshooter Mini pans "reasonably" smoothly for video; how does the regular pro version compare for video work?
Asked by: Gary
The FlexShooter Pro Ball Head with Arca-Type Locking Knob Receiver will offer a similar level of smoothness for video as the Flexshooter mini. Main issue is that you can't adjust the counter balance and fluid drag like you can with a proper video fluid head. Also when panning they don't pan in a straight line, they pan in a curve. I would recommend this Manfrotto head for smooth pan in video. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1470943-REG

FlexShooter Pro Ball Head with Arca-Type Locking Knob Receiver is regularly used with large 600 mm prime lenses and it's extremely durable and sturdy. When proper care is taken, the FlexShooter Pro Ball Head with Arca-Type Locking Knob Receiver will last for many decades.

How well does this head work for video as compared to a fluid head?
Asked by: Mark
We strongly recommend Fluid or at least Pan & Tilt heads for videos. If you do not have a pan handle on the tripod head, you will need to grab the camera directly for panning which can cause vibration and tilting the camera on unwanted angles.

I just purchased this. It does not appear to be able to lock the large ball. Is ther ea way to completely lock the ball head? Or do I have a faulty unit?
Asked by: Allyson
All of the other comments are valid. In addition, if you notice that the hex screw inside of the black lever is loose, then it may require (moderate) tightening with a hex key/Allen wrench. But please try the other remedies above first.

The FlexShooter Pro Ball Head with Arca-Type Locking Knob Receiver will work with Hasselblad medium format cameras and lenses. However, you do need the Acratech Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for Hasselblad. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/3nQ9O4v.
