Is there actual fluid dampening in this head for ...

Is there actual fluid dampening in this head for video use. I would like to find a head that very good for video and also has a 90 degree sideways tilt to do portrait mode for stills. Or are there other still/video hybrid fluid heads that have this feature?
Asked by: Norman
No, this is not an actual fluid head. It performs "fluid-head" like moves, but there is no actual fluid dampening happening. There are no fluid video heads that can be tilted at 90 degrees.

Is the head removable?

Is the head removable?
Asked by: Tat
While they may be removable/replaceable this system was not designed to have the head taken off and on. It really is meant as a system where the head stays on the tripod.
