The spreader is made of cheap metal and can break easily. I was closing up my tripod and the spreader was misaligned slightly, causing one of the inner pivot points to snap. I wasn't forcing my tripod closed or anything. It's unfortunate. I'm going to try and replace with the Manfrotto ground spreader B&H offers.

I have not had this item long enough to really tell how I'll end up using it most, but so far it has a lot of potential. Operation is simple and straightforward. It's very easy to disconnect/reconnect to change configurations, and it stores easily when packed up while still connected to the tripod legs.

Hello, are these spreaders compatible with the Manfrotto 504X Fluid Video Head & MVTTWINMA Aluminum Tripod?

The Manfrotto 2-in-1 Mid-Level/Ground Spreader is designed for the Manfrotto 645 FAST Twin Leg Video Tripod and the Manfrotto 635 FAST Single Leg, not the Manfrotto 504X Fluid Video Head & MVTTWINMA Aluminum Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader.

The Manfrotto 2-in-1 Mid-Level/Ground Spreader is not compatible with the Manfrotto 546B Pro Video Tripod. You'd need either the Manfrotto 165 Ground Spreader for Tripods, https://bhpho.to/3PdJZp8 or Manfrotto Mid-Level Spreader, https://bhpho.to/3BGB5xr.
