Do I really need this adapter for my Sony A7ii camera? It seems to work without the adapter.
The adaptor is for TTL and HSS. The trigger will work on your camera without the adaptor, in manual mode. Contrary to another answer in this thread, it will NOT short out your camera if the adaptor is absent.
