The Cheese Plate Top Handle from Niceyrig provides a quick release shoe mount grip for your camera or cage. It attaches securely to your standard hot shoe mount using a locking thumbscrew and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory mounting threads. it fits the upper arm of a Ronin2

Not the most comfortable handle on the market for sure but if you can leave without that it's a really nice sturdy handle. The thumbscrews are really nice, it locks firmly. You can find spare parts easily too. Material is great. Minus maybe: On my model, I always need to lock the big top screw with an Allen key to get it really locked. I found it very useful to help me carrying a camera package using only the Nato clamp part, coupled with the Upper Arm of a Ronin2 and a Ready-Rig vest. It works very very nicely.

Simple to attach, reversible if longer lens needs to be used and mainly a good quality product

If you are using a cage on the RED Komodo, yes, this top handle will be compatible with all cages and cameras with two 1/4"-20 thread holes in a 36mm diameter distance.
