I have this on a Sony A6500. all metal construction, real leather handle. Very helpful when I have my Sigma 100-400mm lens on it. I don't care for the wood handle stuff that is everywhere. Large metal twist dial to connect to the flash hot shoe, tight. I'm pleased with this purchase.

I wanted a nato handle for my A7SIII Smallrig cage, but didn't want to pay the outrageous asking price for the smallrig Nato handle and mount. This was the perfect solution. Super sturdy and well built at a fraction of the price. You will not notice the difference on your rig. In fact, the only reason I chose the Smallrig cage over competing brands is because it has the eyelet fastener that prevents slipping. If more manufacturers adopted this, I might abandon smallrig entirely. Don't get me wrong, they make great products. But they are overpriced, especially when there are alternatives like Niceyrig that make great quality components for reasonable prices. Get the smallrig cage. Deck it out with quality 3rd party components. Spend your savings on additional gear.

Researched a lot and this handle in hands down the best value out there. The NATO rail mount is a life saver and I love how easy it is to put on and off. You have tons of options to mount things onto the handle. I've had zero issues after having this handle for almost two years now. You will not be disappointed.

This is a very sturdy easy to use nato rail arm with lots of places to mount on camera mics and monitors. And whatever else suits your fancy. My only gripe is that, while it is advertised as rotating, it really means detachable and adjustable. As in: undo the thumbscrew remove the handle and reattach it at a 90 degree angle. I would prefer a quick release rotation as my cameras monitor(FS100) flips up from below the handle.

If you are using a cage on the RED Komodo, yes, this top handle will be compatible with all cages and cameras with two 1/4"-20 thread holes in a 36mm diameter distance.
