Works great, functions as it is designed to do and is extremely easy to install or store on lens when done shooting to make lens pack down smaller. Added bonus is it makes your lens look cooler hah!
Good quality, but a costly item that Nikon should have included with the lens. I have been a Nikon user since 1963 and have never bought a Nikon lens without a hood.
