It may not look like it (color and finish are different) but functionally it looks exactly like Manfrotto MVH502AH. What has your experience been like if you've used both S8Pro and MVH502AH?
Asked by: Vasanth
Yes, they are very similar products. The Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head (BH #MAMVH502AH • MFR #MVH502AH) has a slightly higher load capacity - 22 lb vs 17.6 lb with the Benro - as well as a flatter, wider top that can be beneficial for larger cameras. The Benro S8Pro Fluid Video Head (BH #BES8PRO • MFR #S8PRO) has more customizable drag / counterbalance controls, with a numbered system that allows for greater precision.

What are the counter balance weights at each step ...

What are the counter balance weights at each step for the S8Pro?
Asked by: Abdulrahman
The Benro S8Pro Fluid Video Head (B&H# BES8PRO) features seven incremental steps between none at all and its maximum counterbalance level. The settings are not measured in pounds (or kilograms) but rather labeled as 0-7 on the POSI-STEP COUNTERBALANCE knob on the side of the head. Because they are not scientifically calibrated to specific levels, the weight associated with each setting will differ slightly from copy to copy. However, they are designed to be relatively evenly spaced and thus will provide ample options for setting the counterbalance to a degree that suits typical video cameras within the payload limit of the head.

Hi. I just bought this S8 Pro head, and the head keeps leaning backwards, as if there was too much weight towards the back of the head. It tilts upwards, even with nothing on top of it. Shouldn't it stay still and leveled?
Asked by: Ian
Try adjusting the counterbalance and make sure the camera on top is properly balanced.
