Vienna Symphonic Library Studio Special Edition Volume 5 Dimension Strings is a virtual instrument with a library that features five string sections taken from Studio Dimension Strings: eight first violins, eight second violins, six violas, six cellos, and four double basses. It offers composers and producers a production-ready string-ensemble sound with the outstanding ambience of Synchron Stage Vienna, great for film and game scoring, trailer music, or sound design.
The performers were recorded in homogeneous groups, capturing all of the human interactions and slight imperfections of a live performance. Multiple microphones were used including close mics for each player, giving you access to each voice of the ensemble separately.
You can quickly shape the sound of your strings using the included Vienna Synchron Player software, which offers an internal mixer, a convolution reverb, and flexible routing options. The Auto Humanization feature adds slight imperfections in pitch and timing, as well as different timbres and vibrato intensities to create a lively, authentic ensemble sound, while simply playing the keyboard.
The software is compatible with Mac and Windows and operates in AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX formats.
