The versatile Stackable External Diffuser by Elinchrom fits the front of the Rotalux Octabox, providing a layer of diffusion to the softbox output. The unique stackable feature allows additional layers to be added for increased diffusion. The border frame features touch fastener material to hold the accessory Rotagrid in place.

I lost my front diffuser and had to buy this replacement. Price is a little high, but that's not B&H's fault... it's high from the manufacturer. All that said though, Elinchrom is some of the best quality stuff out there so it'll last years!
I leave this one on all the time - so when I want to use the grid it just fits over. You can place another diffuser - like the original one that comes with the soft box - over it also. Seems handy, but I have not done that yet. The alternate way is to use multi clips - but this is better, cleaner. These work with the deep 100cm Octa as well as the regular 100cm.
