It is super quiet. Fans can only be heard when your ear is closer than 3-6 inches and all you hear is air induction sound not the fan. Be smart with your microphone's pickup pattern and gain on extreme noise isolated cabins.

The GVM V-Mount Battery Plate Adapter with DC Cable Output for P80S, B&H # GVMP80SBOX, would be the correct battery plate adapter for use with the GVM LS-P80S LED Video Soft Light. The above adapter would require two (2) V-mount 14.8V batteries for a total 30 VDC of power.
