Does this have any rubber or foam to enhance the grip on the drive (without having to wrench it so tightly)? I bought another Small Rig product and my T5 fell out twice when slightly bumped.
The SmallRig Samsung T5 SSD Mount v2 does not have rubber or foam.

Can this in anyway be applied to the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro? Or is this only for the previous 6/4K?
Per SmallRig:
SmallRig Samsung T5 SSD Mount (New Version) 2245B allows cameramen to mount the Samsung T5 SSD to cameras rigs that can record directly to an SSD via their USB-C port, such as BMPCC 4K/6K, Z CAM and URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2. It attaches to the camera rigs using two included 1/4”-20 screws, which can flexibly position on cage or handles. It secures both the T5 SSD and the connected USB-C cable by locking levers.
NOTE:
1. This is the NEW VERSION 2245B but can still work with the OLD VERSION cage 2203, CVB2254 and CVB2255. Please bolt it to the suggested place as shown in the picture using two 1/4”-20 screws, which won’t interfere with other accessories attached.
2. If you need the OLD VERSION products, please check SmallRig Samsung T5 SSD Mount for Select BMPCC 6K/4K and Z CAM E2 Cages (Old Version) 2245.
3. If you are using other SSD, SmallRig Universal Holder for External SSD BSH2343 is available.

I want to know if the support is adaptable to disks that have some size variation? for example a 512 angelbird SDD
no it is not. the angelbird is significantly smaller. you can attempt a user modification is it suits your fancy but the manufacturer machined it specifically for the Samsung T5 DRIVES

Will this attach to other camera cages, such as cages for sony cameras?
This has screws in a position designed specifically to attach to the cages it lists. We are not aware of how it would connect to Sony camera cages. It is not recommended.

Could you attach to this directly to a 1/4"-20 mounting point built into a camera body instead of using a cage?
You can but this product requires 2 screws to mount properly. If your camera only has 1 1/4"-20 mounting point it will get loose over time.

With this product you can remove the cold shoe and mount it to your camera with a single 1/4"-20 screw.
Since this product is designed to mount with a single screw it is much more secure when mounted on top of your camera.

No, the SmallRig Samsung T5 SSD Mount v2 for BMPCC 6K/4K & Z CAM E2 Cages would only work with Samsung T5 and T7 drives. For all other drive sizes, we would recommend the following SSD mounts:
