great paper, buy sheet stock

I'm cheap and wanted size versatility, so I got a roll. Guess what? It has a curl that I can't press out when cut to sheet size. That just means taping it down for coating. Not the end of the world, but annoying. The paper coats well with a drop of tween 20...might work without the Tween.

Not a good substitute for Bergger COT 320

My preferred paper for palladium printing, Bergger COT 320 or 160, was out of stock when I ordered this. I had some 8x10 Hahnemuhle platinum rag from a few years ago and tested it to be sure it would work for me. Those prints look fine, but nothing I've made on the large, expensive roll of paper has encouraged me to waste more palladium. The dark tones are weak, the texture is too noticeable (Berger has a smooth side that shows better detail). I gelatin sized some of it and got slightly better results. Disappointing. If you like Bergger, do not hope this is similar.
