This switcher does not have a streaming output. It has HDMI outputs which you can connect to a capture device like the Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2. This Magewell handles some of the processing within the unit, which will make it ideal to work with when you have a computer that is not as powerful.

Yes, but only for inputs 7 and 8. HDMI inputs 7 and 8 are the only ones that offer scalers on this switcher.

I am using a TV to monitor the inputs and outputs instead of using the LCD screen. It cuts some of the video and camera shots off at the bottom of the screen. What size monitor should I use to get the actual views?
The output format of this device is 1080p (16x9)... You should verify the settings on your TV to make sure you are set up to play back at 1080p and 16x9. There should be no issues playing back this signal at full resolution when all settings are verified.
