I purchased this lens to pair with my fuji x-E5 body. The detail is amazing. I pair with a fuji x-e5. It is light weight. easy to use and focus with. On a learning curve as today was my first day. Highly recommend for insects!! .

Buying Our First Mirrorless G7 For Jewelry Work. Rep Recommended Laowa Lens, Wasn't Sure After Years Of Using Canon Elph. At First It Was Tricky, But This Lens Is Something Else. Simple To Use, Works Great And Once We Got The Right Aperture Vs Exposure, Pictures Started Rocking. Getting Better Every Day And Already Paying Off. Worth The Investment. About To Test A Simpler Lens (MK2) To Compare Results.

Would the focus stacking ability of a Fujifilm X-T3 still work or is that a victim of no electronic connections?

Unfortunately to do the auto focus stacking ability in the X-T3, you do need electronic communication. However, if you plan to do your stack in post, then you could use this lens no problem.
